She is very into peek-a-boo right now...sometimes, she doesn't quite get that you're supposed to cover your eyes, so she'll cover an ear or her mouth instead. :)
Here are some of her other fun quirks:
-She eats two breakfasts every morning. One when she first wakes up and another about 15 minutes later when I have my breakfast. She always comes over to me and begs for a bite (or two...or three) of my breakfast. I'm not gonna lie. I love it. :)
-She calls every animal she sees a "dah" (dog). "Dah" is also her favorite word. She says it immediately after I walk into her room every morning, then starts looking for Spike and Gabby. Here's a pic of her at the zoo looking at the bears. She pointed and yelled, "dah!!" when she saw them.
Doesn't she look like such a big girl?
-Most importantly, she started walking for real this week! She's been capable of walking on her own for about a month, just barely hanging on to the table, couch or whatever was near as she cruised along, but just Monday, she finally let go and took six or seven steps across our bedroom. That video is not the best, so I got another one yesterday:
-The girl has a mouth full of teeth! Twelve in all...and her toothy grin is precious, especially since it she usually uses it when she's being ornery. Case in point...
-Annie is finally into watching TV. Not that I want her to be a TV zombie, but I do want her to enjoy watching Sesame Street or Sid the Science Kid every once in awhile. I also like her new found love of TV because it's the only time she'll actually sit in my lap for more than two seconds.
-She also really likes music and dancing to music. We're still working to get a good video of this, but trust me-it's a hoot!
All of these funny little things she does make me even more grateful for the family God has created for me. It could not be more perfect.
