Last week, I sorted our family's laundry into three or four loads in my bedroom floor, then went to start the washing machine. The next thing I know, Annie's walking toward me with an armful of whites. "Here go, momma!", she said with excitement in her eyes. Sweet girl must have made four or five trips between my bedroom and the laundry room to bring me the rest of the clothes and throw them in the washing machine.
The next day, as I was putting away our clean clothes, she came running to me with some shirts that needed to be hung wadded in her arms (yay, wrinkles!). I grabbed them and took them to my closet to start hanging them and she proudly announced, "I helper Annie!"
Yes, sweet girl, you are!
